IAOM Central, Texoma and Wheat State Districts’ Joint Meeting

The Central, Wheat State and Texoma Districts would like to invite you to attend their joint summer conference July 22-23, at The Chateau on the Lake in Branson, Missouri. This is the sixth year the meeting has been held in Branson, at the beautiful Chateau on the Lake overlooking Table Rock Lake.

Please join us Thursday evening for the welcome picnic. The technical program will begin Friday morning, and will include an opportunity to see new products and services from various vendors during the Table Top expo. The conference will conclude with the banquet Friday evening. The Allied Trades hospitality suite will be will be open Thursday and Friday, location TBA.

For planning purposes, we would greatly appreciate your advance registration. Please use the enclosed form to let us know which functions you and/or spouse/guests will be attending. Advance conference registration should be made by July 9 to take advantage of the reduced prices. Since we have to guarantee a certain number of attendees for the dinners and golf in advance, there will not be any refunds made after July 9.

We have reserved a block of rooms at The Chateau on the Lake. The Chateau is located at 415 N. State Hwy 265, Branson, MO, 65616. The room rate of $182.00, plus tax and resort fee, applies for single or double occupancy. Please reserve your rooms before June 20, after that date availability and rates are not guaranteed. There is a golf tournament scheduled for Thursday morning at the Pointe Branson at Pointe Royale Golf Village. Play will begin at 11:00 a.m., and we have reserved tee times. Awards will be presented at the banquet on Friday evening. Matt Fanshier of Great Western Mfg. has agreed to handle the arrangements for the tournament. If you do want to golf the cost is $100/person (advance registration), includes green fees & golf cart.

After the conference feel free to take advantage of the many entertainment options available in and around Branson. There are many live shows with tickets still available. Of course there is also Silver Dollar City, the Titanic, and many shopping opportunities for those who need some retail therapy! Speaking of therapy… the Chateau on the Lake has a wonderful spa you may want to take advantage of as well. The Chateau also has its own marina if you would like to rent a boat, wave runner, canoe, etc.

COVID-19 Information
IAOM is pleased to be moving forward with an in-person district meeting July 22-23, 2021 in Branson, Missouri. IAOM continues to monitor hotel, local, state and federal restrictions, mandates, guidelines and protocols. IAOM will comply with all restrictions/mandates and may choose to extend best practices after a restriction/mandate has ended.
The IAOM Central District Leadership asks for your continued support, flexibility, cooperation and understanding as we move forward to present a safe and successful event and to provide a healthy and productive environment that is in the best interest for the association and its attendees, staff and partners. At this time, IAOM is implementing the following COVID-19 protocols and recommendations to maintain a safe environment for all IAOM attendees, staff, vendors, partners, as well as hotel guests, visitors, staff and families back at home.
Failure to abide by the IAOM and/or hotel protocols may result in removal from the meeting and/or hotel.
·       Stay home if you feel sick.
·       Mask covering over your mouth and nose will be required at all times except when eating.
·       Physically distance (3 feet) distance from other people whenever possible.
·       Follow the directional signage regarding entering and exiting meeting spaces.
·       Wash your hands frequently with warm, soapy water for at least 20 seconds and/or use hand sanitizer frequently.
·       Cover your mouth with tissues whenever you sneeze or cough, and discard used tissues in the trash.
·       Do not share pens/pencils/phones.
·       Honor other attendees’ personal choices regarding masks, distance and personal contact.
·       Abide by all hotel rules/policies.
·       Abide by all federal, state and local regulations.
Hotel COVID-19 Information:
The hotel is also taking steps to ensure safety for their guests and staff. As a result, some services may be different than in the past and/or may be limited. For example: Gyms and work out facilities may be closed and/or limited in hours of operation and number of guests. Valet, Spa and housekeeping services may be limited or unavailable. Food and beverage outlets may be limited, reservations may be required, and capacities may be limited.
