You are invited to submit an
application (or make a recommendation) for an Educational
Presentation at the 113th
Annual IAOM Conference & Expo in Grand Rapids, Michigan. You have
the opportunity to contribute
to the profession and increase your visibility and credibility with
fellow professionals by making
a presentation in one of four areas: technical operations,
employee management, quality
control, and facility management.
The IAOM Annual Conference is
the premier education event in the milling and grain processing
industries. The 2009 Conference
in Grand Rapids offers YOU an exciting opportunity to address
the industry’s most active and
influential professionals. All education sessions are designed to be
non-commercial in content, and
to address industry innovations, standards and trends.
Submission
Requirements
To be considered for a
presentation, your programming idea must be received by August 8, 2008
to allow program development in
mid-August by the IAOM Program Committee. Your entry
should include the following:

A completed application,
and
-
An approximate 50-word
description of the topic of your presentation (as an attachment).
Speaker
Privileges and Obligations
Speakers will be provided with
a complimentary conference registration, which includes all
sessions, exhibits, exhibit
hall lunches, receptions, and refreshment breaks. Speakers are
required to submit a written
article on their presentation for publication in IAOM’s International
Miller,
and sign a release allowing IAOM to record and distribute their presentation
through the
members-only section of the
IAOM website. Further information and guidelines will be sent to
selected presenters.
